ADVANCED SEARCH, GAME RATED

Just a few changes I had in mind--

When you submit a game, you should be able to write a rating guide like ESRB. For games that are already out, whoever has submitted them should rate them. If a game goes beyond its rating the owner of the game should be warned, and the download link should be temporarily disabled until the owner fixes the problems with the game.

When you submit a game you should also be able to enter 5 search terms, so that whenever people make a game search, they'll find something to do with a game. For example; if I wanted to play a Mario game that had nothing to do with Mario in its title, I would be able to find it. When you search, you should also be able to check whether or not to filter the game by its status: show games in Production, Completion, Hiatus, Cancelled, Traditional RPGs, Action RPGs, other, Platformer, Puzzle, Sim, or Strategy. I doubt people are going to care about what engine is used, however, so it should not be a part of any search engine. You should also be able to search the forums for a specific topic. This is all to make it easier for people to find the game they want to play.

Also, the spell-check seems a bit faulty, it says 'cancelled' is not a real word.

What do you guys think..?

A rating system, that sounds pretty good. Although it probably really doesn't matter I know there has to be some people who have younger brothers and sisters not wanting to play some types of games.

I do like the search words but about your not wanting an engine being showed, i think that should be kept not everyone has the RTP for all makers.
Like, a rating system for appropriateness for kids and stuff? Totally worthless.

There's no way to enforce it, no way to fairly apply the labels, no point to it, and no benefit.

If you feel strongly about objectionable content, post a comment in people's game page.

No no no, I didn't mean that, I meant in search terms people wouldn't necessarily need a filter on what engine the game was created with.

It's interesting that you brought up forums.

To be more constructive, I am not going to implement any sort of rating system at the time. While I could see it being somewhat useful to categorize games, it is completely unenforceable.

RMN3 has much improved capabilities to find games.

From what I've heard, RMN3 is going to be like a smooth latina chick's bottom.

POST RATING: M FOR MATURE
HARMONIC RATING: 6 OUT OF 5
Hmm, theres no real point on the rating system, think anything that people could release on RMN others could probably find the same if not worst kind of stuff anywhere else on the internet.

But the idea of a search type thing would be cool, of course i already bet WIP is working something a long those lines for RMNv3

That's because there's officially only one L. As a rule of thumb you usually use double consonants like that when the emphasis is on the last syllable.
