Leonard Nimoy, Spock of ‘Star Trek,’ Dies at 83
I heard he was hospitalized a few days ago, but I didn't expect this. Leonard Nimoy felt like one of those celebrities who will be around forever, like Betty White and James Lipton. I was so surprised to get a text telling me that he passed away today. He gets to reunite with DeForest Kelley and James Doohan, but we'll miss him all the same down here.
Sad day. :(

RIP, man. I figured you would live forever.
We're that much closer to the afterlife remake of the original series.

We've still got more than half of the main cast (Kirk, Sulu, Chekhov, Uhura), so it's not so bad. Not like Gilligan's Island, where the only cast member still living is the vile bitch who hates the show and her former cast mates. In the case of Gilligan's Island, the good really do die young/evil prevails/whatever.
Oh, no... My very first crush. I am so, so upset right now.
Dear God, Shatner must be absolutely wrecked. The two of them were just... you could see how much they cared for each other. Best friends always.

Man, that's pretty sad. Seemed like a cool dude. I even really liked his cameos in the new Star Trek movies.
Yeah this stinks, pretty much.
I mean I'm not really a big Nimoy fan, but it's sad to see good actors go.

I was just one of many that grew up watching him. Not just Star Trek, I've watched him on Perry Mason, the Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits, Mission: Impossible...He was in Atlantis: The Lost Empire and he was the voice of Galvatron in Transformers: The Movie. Well, I know what I'm watching this weekend.
Don't forget Master Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts.
