Game Profile Custom Image Topic

This may be the wrong place to post this, so sorry in advance for that.

On the "Manage Game Details" page, there's an option to choose a custom image "in lieu" of the game's main image. I've got it to work once, but I want to change my custom image and it won't work. I just get the 'torn bit of paper' error icon every time.

Is there some trick to it that I'm missing? I've tried pngs, jpegs. I tried making the new image the exact dimension of the old one that worked. Nothing.

Where are you getting the image url from? Your locker is generally the most reliable spot, but imgur isn't bad either.

It has to be a direct url. For example, ReCrisis's is http://i.imgur.com/oBpglwH.png

exactly like that.

Just tried it with images from my game's profile, seems to work (though I have a feeling I tried that already...) anyhow, thanks for the pointer.

Where are you hosting the file? In your RMN locker? If so, you are probably grabbing the wrong link.

e: And I'm late. If you do use an image on RMN you have to make sure that the url says

http://rpgmaker.net/media/content/users/9179/locker/Orc1.gif

and not

http://rpgmaker.net/users/Link_2112/locker/Orc1.gif
