I was just thinking, that whenever I see the words "Event Updated" I go and look and the page, but I struggle to see what has changed. Perhaps there is a way to show what exactly within the event has been updated?

Usually it's spelling or written parts which aren't conducive to being shown. If it's important the host should be commenting about it in the comment section as well as editing on the page. But, yeah, for the most part updating events are a case of adding badges/ms amount, changing something written or the css.
