After half a year of toying around with RPG Maker VX Ace, I've finally decided on the game I want to make. It's a 16-bit JRPG parody called Final Quest, and it's going to be a pretty crazy game. It's all about a young boy named Hero, who, after having his home village destroyed by a giant monster, goes out to rid the world of evil. Along his way he is joined by a rebellious princess, a hakaturi, a dwarf inventor, an emo vampire, a mercenary, a halfling necromancer, and, of course, a robot. I'll be doing the events and most character sprites, so here's what I'll need from you, depending on what you can do for me:
Pixel Artist
I need someone with some skill at making SNES style tiles and backgrounds. If you can do monsters as well, that would be fantastic. The art for the game is very important to me, probably the most important aspect that I don't control.
Musician
I need a chiptune artist who is capable of throwing homages into their songs. I was originally going to use a free chiptune website, but this will give the game more personality.
Script Writer
I need someone to write scripts that can make the game's combat and other features original. I would hate if the game seemed just like every other RPG Maker game, with no variations whatsoever, so I would really appreciate this.
These jobs will of course be unpaid, since it's a noncommercial game and between the game and school, I can't really get a job. The bottom line is, this is for devoted people who just want to make a game. Like me. For any more information, you can either comment or message me.

It's awesome to hear that you're ready to make a game, but is this your first game ever? If so, I'd suggest at least getting one game done on your own before you try and tackle a group project.
It can even be a short game, just as long as it's something you can put up here and show that you've got both the dedication and skills to make a decent game, even without someone making custom scripts, sprites, and sounds for you.
I can't speak for everyone, but I'd personally not feel very inclined to join the team for someone on their first game without even any evidence that the person has any drive to get the game done. It's not fun to do a lot of work on resources and then find out that the head of the project has dropped the ball. Not to mention we all have ideas of games we'd like to see made, so seeing that you've got more going for you than just an idea would be great.
That said, it sounds like you've got a good idea that could be a lot of silly fun if executed properly. Best of luck!
