lol sorry for taking the title of a old thread but it fits the problem rather well.

first off, yeah, i use windows 7 and after doing a search and finding the old thread titled PHANTOM SAVE FILES? ...now i have that same issue and can't seem to find my save files for the game, Final Tear 3, anywhere. i already tested and it does indeed save to 2 different locations depending on if you run the game as administrator or not. normally i don't so i don't have any idea where my saves are. i checked the games directory where it installed to as well as my documents folders, nothing anywhere.

Did you try a Windows search? That should bring up all of the RPG Maker saves on your computer.

This has happened to me also. Though my saves are in my documents folder. Still strange though.

FINALLY, found where that particular game saves to on windows 7 when NOT running the game as administrator, geez that was annoying. (had to search C:for a file named save and it came up as save01, save02, and save03.)

when not running it as admin it saves to:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Stevie v.d. Laar productions\Final Tear 3
