CloseHey. Not sure if this is the right place for this but here it goes. Feel free to move it if not..
I've been playing the excellent RM2K game Jay's Journey, (http://rpgmaker.net/games/4289/) however I've been stuck to the point of extreme frustration in the Ice Dungeon when you enter the chest. I have no idea how to complete the puzzle and proceed.
Please help. I am extremely frustrated and I just can't figure it out. If anyone has any questions I'd be glad to answer.

You asked for help on the game page yesterday. 24 hours isn't very long, you need to wait. That is the place to ask questions.
Or you could open the game in the editor and either look for the answer or alter it to bypass the puzzle.

Forget the editor, open the game in test mode which enables certain developer-only features. One of these features is holding the CTRL button to disable random* encounters and lets the player walk through walls and other obstacles. Open the game in test mode, hold CTRL, and walk to the staircase down.
(I have never played Jay's Journey so I can't say how to solve the puzzle or if its bugged or whatever)

More avoiding downloading rpg maker than opening it. I don't know if NewmanNR has it and my solution doesn't require it in order to access test mode.

If he can get it to work and doesn't have 2k3, it's a viable solution. Although I have suggested for less complicated fixes and people were unable to do it heh I just assume everybody is a computer noob and can't do something even when the instructions are clearly laid out.
