ALACRITY MISSION

Cowfrog Studios has been working on our first independent project, Alacrity Mission.
We have recently launched our online networking platforms such as Facebook, our own website, and are now running a campaign on Kickstarter.
Alacrity Mission is an RPG with a science fiction survival setting. We are using our own development suite. Look below for some image references.
Some of the key factors of interest about our game are the turn-based battle system which will use quick time events to increase combat effectiveness and the 20 playable characters who each have their own action skill/tool which can be used in a Zelda-esque style manner on the map. Plenty of puzzles and deliberately designed areas will create a horror survival scenario with a high difficulty that is dealt with in a Metroidvania style search for hidden components which will power up your team members.
We are working to accomplish two things. First, to get the word out about the game and start getting some feedback and interest drummed up. Second, we are seeking additional funding through Kickstarter which will increase our rate of production by allowing us to stop spending so much time on fundraising.
If you guys are interested at all please respond. We can post some more info to follow and we will respond to messages. If you want to know more right away, you can find plenty of information on our website, facebook, and kickstarter.
We will be posting regular updates on the Facebook and we really appreciate any feedback, promotional efforts by spreading the word, and if you feel up to backing us on Kickstarter we really appreciate that as well. Thanks for your time and we hope to hear from you.

Cool looking game, bro, but advertising topics aren't allowed on the forums. Instead, why not submit this "beautiful looking piece" onto the site?
Just select "Submissions," at the top, and "Submit Game," submit four screenshots and some general info -- and your set!

I remember seeing a free to use rpg maker engine being developed
and asking for money.... hmmm.... If you didn't allow him
to advertise his game then why allow that other guy to advertise
his rpg maker project.
Here's the link to the topic thread for this:

Apologies for the perceived break in protocol.
This was by no means meant to be an advertisement. We are trying to get feedback from people and find out how much interest there is in our game.
Alacrity Mission is not a game that is developed with RPGmaker. We are coding and developing all of the assets including the art ourselves, so a submission would maybe not be appropriate.
Our goal was feedback. We have a lot of information behind those links, especially the kickstarter.

I don't think RMN requires the engine to be RPG Maker.
You can select other. There was some snowman game
on here recently that was an internet game (no download
required.)
When you submit a game page you can also select
commercial game so people know that its for profit.
You can add links from the page to your kickstarter
page. Having a game page is more likely to get you more
views than a topic thread.
Yeah, we don't have any hard and fast rules for Kickstarter request topics, but generally they are made as a forum post in the General forum (just like this one is).
Anywho, that is a cool looking game! But with the glut games on Kickstarter now, is $40k still a realistic request to make? (Financially/budget-wise, it might very well be what you need, but do you think you can get that?)
Good luck in any event!

Thank you for your interest and compliment. We do need to reach that $40k goal in one way or another. So far we have been funding the game entirely on our own and that has restricted the rate at which we can pay for the assets we need to finish the game. Even if we do not succeed in our efforts on kickstarter we have gotten valuable feedback and gathered considerable interest in the project so far. Those are at least as valuable as the money we need.
Kickstarter would allow us to produce the game much more quickly. It isn't a stopping point, but instead a potential avenue.
Thank you for your comment.
