On the few occasions I've been on RMN while I was out and about and my only source of interwebs was my phone, I've noticed that when you zoom in (so that you can actually read the text) the top bar doesn't seem to scale the same way, to the point where it's overlaying text. I also find that when zoomed in you can't scroll pages properly to enter text on a post.

It is working properly on my Android... What are you using? Have you tried downloading Opera Mobile?

iPhone 4S on Safari. No I haven't.

the only difference is that the top_bar has a CSS property of position: fixed; The only other element on RMN that has that are the site messages (the ones that popup when you perform an action like, iunno, posting a blog or making a post). Are those messages also super big on zoom?

EDIT:
a quick google search reveals that Safari has issues with position: fixed? But that was resolved in iOS 5...?

EDIT2:
further research revealed that Apple half-assed the support for position: fixed and that there are still a ton of issues with it in Safari.
