Closehey, we have polls now. might as well use them. I took 4 of the recent suggestions and made a poll out of it. If this poll stuff for FG pans out maybe it can be a thing!

I think a bunch of people have randomly been suggesting games they haven't played anyway in the suggestion topic lol.
I'm definitely not in favor of making the featured game more of a popularity contest than it already is.

The poll will not be as effective if you don't give the chance for someone to voice their opinion of "none of the above".
If it's really going to be a thing it should be accurate and allow for everyone to be represented. I can't vote here because I haven't played these games and the one I might want isn't up there.

I agree that there should at least have a "none of the above". Also, putting a poll at this point in time is kinda late, don't you think? You're not giving people enough time to play the aforementioned games! There will surely have many people not having played any of the above games, and announcing a poll only 2 days before the start of next month won't be kinda fair, I should say.
If you truly want a poll for people to choose the next featured game, I suggest you post a poll earlier in future, like at least 2 weeks before start of next month.

In the featured game topic the discussion usually happens pretty late in the month anyways. At least now people see that there may be a poll again in the future and will look out for it. A test run.
I've always seen the discussion as a chance to suggest games you already know/played, not as a chance to play the games others are suggesting to know if you agree or not. But that's just me. I don't play many games so I don't join in often >.>
