Occasionally after I D/L a game and for whatever reason, it wont play and I have tried everything I can to get it to work...I simply erase it and start over.
The aggravating thing is that almost always I get a little spiffy telling me I have reached the D/L limit and need to try later.
Considering the fact that often there ARE some sort of D/L problems, it should be recognised players will turn right around and try again.
Could it not be done that after 3-4 attempts to D/L a game again, THEN you get that notice?
At the moment I have had problems with the most recent FINAL FANTASY and THE ADVENTURE. The first gave me RPGVX RTP not found. The second I played yesterday but today isnt even to be found. When I tried to D/L I got the message.
Anyway...thanks. I really enjoy being here and playing ( or attempting to )the many games.

I just downloaded The Adventure and received no error messages. It's possible that the download was posted on an external site with download limits. It could've also been a minor glitch while the site was being updated.
As for the RMVX RTP not found error, that's a burden that lies with the creator. If they don't include the RTP, typically you'll have to download and install it yourself. RTP are like common files for most RPG Maker games of that engine.

I think he means if you click the "Download Now" button, and it tells him Download Limit Reached. It's to prevent Download Spamming and other such things. You just might have to wait a while.
Edit: This means you would have had to have downloaded the game multiple times, I think more than 3, in a short period of time.

I didn't know this feature had been implemented, although I remember such a feature being discussed after Stonesearch happened.
