CloseSo I've been using RM2K3 for awhile now and I decided that it's time I upgraded. I'm considering XP because it's the least complex out of the newest makers for PC but VXA also came out. But I'm looking for the engine that's closest and most true to the 2K makers. Can anyone help me with this? I don't want to spend a year saving up for VXA even though we can purchase it through RMN.
VXA is the closest to the 2k/3 makers, imho. It has more featured built into it than XP or VX has, and most of the other missing features can be fixed up with some scripts that people have written, that you can usually just plug into the game and tweak.
Don't forget that all the English released makers have a 30 day trial. Nothing's locked or missing features except that they won't open after 30 days. If you find one you like you can buy it and continue with your game without missing a beat.
