IS THERE A WAY TO RAISE MAX HP TEMPORARILY?

I am working on a character that can turn into different creatures. I want to be able to change his base stats like max-HP, when he changes forms. I haven't found the part of the script that controls max-HP
Also is it possible, when changing max-HP to not refill his HP bar? It wouldn't be fair to his enemies if he miraculously regenerated all his HP by changing forms.

So far what I have worked on with the character changing forms is pretty basic. I have Items linked to common events that change the sprite and battler graphics, it removes all skills from the character and gives him new skills based on the monster he's turned into. I can also change stats like dexterity, and agility, but I cannot change attack and defense stats which is critical, since my character does not use weapons or armor. I though about randomly equipping "fake weapons and armor" to increase these stats, but it seems like a strange way to do it.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Which RPG Maker are you using?
VXA does it easily.
RMXP would likely require scripting or some sort of creative use of swapping actors

You can just make a status effect in RMXP that changes your max HP to 200%. When making a status effect, max hp is the third box on the top row of stat mods.
You can change attack and defense this way too.

Or you could use variables. Just use one for each stat. 'Record' your normal HP in a variable, then change the Max HP to what you want. When you want to change back, use the amount in the variable to change it back.
Thanks Lockez and Liberty, I will try both of your suggestions. Using status effects never even occurred to me.

I was under the impression XP couldn't do this, since he was asking. I assumed he would have looked in Status Effects first.
