Hello, everyone. At the moment I'm working on a horror RPG called Blood Rose in RMVX. To put this post simply, I'm using a 640x480 screen size, and because of this, my area to put enemies is limited.
By default, the lowest I can possibly put enemy graphics is here:

So I set out to try and move the overall enemy drawing place down. I've toyed with viewports and I ended up creating a new one (since battlebacks and enemy graphics are normally in the same viewport) called viewport4 and designated that solely to enemy graphics. I managed to move it down, but now I'm encountering other issues:

The game is still cutting the graphic off as though she's at the top of the screen, which is where she would be without the edit. Additionally, animations are now completely off-kilter. I have little to no idea how to go about fixing this and for the life of me can't find any relevant references in RMVX's or my scripts to the enemy graphic that might fix these issues. This kind of graphic issue isn't one I can just ignore, I'm trying to get some help here.

I can't offer anything in return...just my thanks and gratitude. I wouldn't be asking if I hadn't already attempted it myself ^^;
Did you make a new viewport and just move it down, or did you increase the viewport's size to 640x480?

The viewport definition should be something along the lines of

viewport = Viewport.new(0, 0, 640, 480)

In the case of the image above it appears as though the Viewport's y is not 0 as it should be, but something more along the lines of 120ish. You can check by simply adding a line like

print viewport.x
Kyrsty, try doing this, ctrl+Shift+f in the script editor and change all 544 and 416 values to 640x480. That's what I did before when I was changing my screen resolution and never encountered a problem with it.

I suggest trying this first.

If you're still having issues with monsters, there should be something much easier than moving the viewport - I think Game_Troop holds the actual x/y vars for you to move.

I've changed all the 544x416 references in the game with no luck. I also checked game troop, and there's no position related value that I can see. Game_Enemy has screen_x and screen_y, but changing this has no effect. BEM has a lot of battler references, but I think a lot of those are because of animated battlers, so I'm not even sure where to start looking.
Maybe yami's screen resizer script is killing it? :x

I figured it out. There's certain values in Battle Engine Melody's configuration that deal with Y positioning, and once I found it, adjusting battler position was easy.

Thank you all for all your help!
