PAYING JOB, Spriter needed (Charsets/Poses)

Hello there! I have been working on a project for quite some time now (well over a year). Up until this point I have had a (semi) dedicated charset artist who has created all of my graphic requests (and there are quite a few of them). Unfortunately, life happens, and I am now in need of a new artist.

Now, this is a large job, and is a continuous job. I am trying to create animated attack poses of all enemies, and I also need some more poses for the main character. The game is an ABS, essentially a mix between the Zelda games, Sword of Mana and Crystalis. The programming is mostly finished for the majority of the game, and maps are being made. Unfortunately, as skilled as I am at actually USING the maker, I have little to know charset making skills.

As I understand this is going to be a lot of work, I am willing to pay. Prices will be negotiated, but will be per sheet of characters. I would like to see samples, and I will also upload a sample of my previous artists work. You can finish his work if you'd like (the axe and spear battle poses, 4 each per direction), or show me something completely different.

Also, if there are more than one artist that impress me, each will receive different assignments, and will all be paid .

A Strange Issue

I am creating an ABS, and I have several breakable items on each map (up to 8 per map).

I just noticed that sometimes when the breakable item is broken, the game stops allowing anything to happen. You can walk around, and you can talk, but it ignores the action key for sword swings, and it ignores other key commands for other items and the menu. It seems like the key input processing for some reason gets messed up, but I can't figure out why. Can anyone help me figure this out?

I am using rm2k3. I've tried restarting the Input Processing, resetting the variables to 0, everything I can think of, but it still locks up...

Edit : After fooling around a bit, if the item is broken, you cannot attack for about a second, but then you are able to, but if you pick up the item that the broken item drops before you can attack again, you cannot attack anymore at all.

A request for quests!

I need some ideas for some side quests. I plan to have a LOT of quests in my game, aside from story related quests, but I need a bit of help figuring some out here. I will take the ideas I like, and I will give full credit!

The game is set in a medieval fantasy world, and is an ABS. Think a mix between Zelda, Crystalis and Sword Of Mana, and you've got the basics of my game.

A few graphical requests (2k3)

I have a few requests here. I hope someone, or a few people can help me out with them.

Request 1
I started playing Sword of Mana recently, and I really like how when conversation comes up, they show about half of a character's body for the 'face set'

I was wondering if anyone could help me make face sets like those. I would make RTP style faces, and send them, along with the charset for the face.

Request 2
I need a dragon sprite. The head must be separate, and have an open and shut mouth pose. Claws and tail also should be separate. The body can be bigger than a typical charset, I know how to get it to work properly.

And finally
Request 3
I need a picture of a city laying near an ocean. It is a port city, and the ocean is to the north of the city. To the south, east and west, there is forest. The city is rather large, and roughly circular.

I also need the same city, but on fire.

Log - Jumping (2k3)

I've been trying to figure out a system in my game where there are logs floating in the water. You step onto the log, and as it moves, you move with it, and you can step off at a couple places in between.

The problem is, the logs only will move if the water is a O, so you can just freely walk over the water anyways, easy fix though, just a LOT of same layer events.

What I can't figure out though, is how to get the character to stand on the log, and move with it, but be able to move back and forth, and when you reach an end point, be able to move forward onto the land.

Any help would be great!

Custom Title Screen (2k3)

I was wondering if there is anyway to use a custom title screen in 2k3. I have the Auto Enter patch, which bypasses the menu, and I know how to put the options for new game and quit game, but is there any way to put a load game command?

Or would I be better off bypassing the title menu, showing my title screen, then using a - Go to Title screen command, and having a plain black title screen with a different logo on it, and have the NEW, LOAD and QUIT options there
Edit : Actually, I tried this, and when it goes back to the main title screen, it immediately bypasses it again.

Transparent System Graphics

I have a beautiful title screen that was custom made for me. The problem is that when the 'New, Load, Quit' menu pops up, it covers a part of it. I downloaded Cherry's HyperP program and moved the menu over to the far right, which is better, but is it possible to make the system graphic transparent on the title screen?

I am using 2k3 by the way.

New here, not to RPG Maker

I've been visiting this forum and using many resources and tutorials for quite some time. I figured I might as well join up here now, since I've got a project in the works.
