They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

The computer class that was required for my major but partway through got merged with another class I'd already taken so I basically skipped as many classes as I could and halfassed all the assignments and still got an A because I already knew the material.

I liked college. Also, I particularly looked forward to all of my creative writing classes. I liked most of my music history courses a lot, too, and my 20th century class was probably the most interesting, but "History of Rock and Roll" or "History of Jazz" were the undergrad courses that most people would have loved the most; they were pretty easy and I didn't learn much new from them, though (especially the rock one). My 70s film class in grad school was great, too. I wrote a paper on Halloween, Black Christmas, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I miss college.
