STATUS

Working with the "true" game boy palette has been a godsend so far in my pixel art practicing. Everything I need to do now is to just take one step at a time.

In a lot of ways I find limited palettes actually more freeing and make me more creative.

I definitely agree on that aspect. You really need to think in color when you're using limited palettes since every color counts. Less is sometimes more as well.

Limitation in general is a big creative source for me. I'm probably never going to switch to playing a 5+ string bass guitar for that very reason.
