It's so people can remember it exists. Often people tend to resort to being all grumpy back instead of reporting posts that should be reported. Making the report button stand out a little more will hopefully more reports and less fights.
I guess so... can we have little symbols for the others too though? it just makes it look like a self-destruct button.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I feel like you're going to get a lot more bullshit reports over petty stuff that should absolutely not get reported.
Saving lets you save a post. I tend to use it for posts that have interesting information that I might want to revisit later on, or posts I've made that I've shared a couple of times in the past and would like to copy/paste in the future instead of retyping out again. It's basically a 'Favourite' feature, albeit for your eyes only.
If you go to your Subscription area you'll find where your saved posts are.
Since the start of the year there's been a total of 5 non-spam reports - one for a macro (the first report for one of those in years), one for a double post (don't get many reports for those, either), two for the same post and one for an argument. In December we had less than 10 reports that weren't spam, and most for a fight in the Trump thread (the rest were small things). Frankly, taking spam out of the equation, we get very few reports, even when there is a flare up or insults thrown around.

Reports seem manually reviewed, so false reports shouldn't be much trouble. For most of us, anyway.

That icon isn't immediately lethal, it's radioactive. Too much, could be lethal. It's okay, though. I've got RadAway.

I dunno, the person with a stop sign works well - every time I see it STOP RIGHT NOW by Spice Girls pops into my head. That's definitely a bonus.

Actually, I’m with Kloe on this one: I would like to see the Edit, Save and Quote buttons have little symbols on them too to balance things out. It’s just that now I can’t stop staring at the Report button now since it stands out so much, and I wanna click on it but I’m too scared that something might go boom now.
