A short pixel art tutorial with minimal effort to make trees which fit with the style of VX/Ace.

Welcome to my first tutorial! I hope I don't write in such a way as to confuse and/or bore you to death! On that note, please enjoy! :D

For this I recommend you use GIMP, as I'll be showing you a few features of the program which I'm uncertain can be gotten in Photoshop, etc. or what the corresponding names are in other programs. If you know them, feel free to use them! If not, GIMP is a fantastic (and free) image manipulation tool which I highly recommend.
Sound Design Improves Everything
Today I'd like to talk about something I feel needs addressing: Sound Design. Sound Design is something that is usually over looked by most developers. Yet, sounds are what give your game weight and believability. Using them correctly helps to create atmosphere and ambience. In survival horrors, ambience is critical to it's success.

High Fantasy Resource Bundle
Megan and Jesse have posted a sweet resource pack for sale (distributed by Degica) and you can pick it up here. These resources will work in RPG Maker VX and VX-Ace with no problems and can be used for commercial purposes.

Hello humans,

I rather enjoy sitting down and writing out some of my thoughts, it really helps me reflect and express myself at the same time. Two birds with one stone (I'm a monster). By the way, I stole this article title (not the subtitle) from a self help deck of cards by Tom Peters. I haven't actually read them but I did like the name. So thank you Tom, for helping me with the title of this article!
