I know you're probably all getting tired of seeing the notice tab lit up every day for Danganronpa Team. Hopefully not. Hopefully everything you've seen so far makes you go: "Oh, cool. Look, it's an RPG Maker game that's actually seeing progress in a timely manner". But unfortunately, frequent updates are about at their end, because I've pretty much run out of stuff to talk about and show off. So from here on out I think the only updates you'll get will be actual progress updates saying stuff like "chapter one is finished and is in testing" or "chapter two is out of testing". Kinda dry, but that's what we have to work with from here on out. If I can think of anything else to slip into those updates to spice it up a bit, I'll do it.

Alright, so I have some bad news. I spent last night attempting to make an OP for Danganronpa Team, and it's just not happening. I gave it a shot, and that shot was flat out not good. I was having trouble with a number of things, the least of which being that I simply don't have enough material/good ideas to make a good, original OP. I tried emulating Danganronpa 2's OP as well and wasn't at all satisfied with the results of that. So at this point I'm just going to say there won't be an OP. I may go back after I've finished making the rest of the game and give it another try, but I think at this point it's better to assume that there won't be one. I probably shouldn't have even mentioned that there could be one in the first place before I actually tried making it. That's my mistake.

On the plus side, I made some progress today with other things. For instance, the map of Foxy Island that will come with the game is done, and it looks great. I kept with the game's art style pretty well as I was making it. It's 1920x1080p, so you could probably use it for a wallpaper if you really wanted. But I just made it 1920x1080p because I wanted a lot of space to work with and those were the first dimensions that came to mind when I thought "big". That all being said, I'm not showing you guys the map until the game is done. That's one thing I won't spoil.

I also made the animation for collecting evidence. That is in a little video below. I'm gonna go ahead and say right now though that I don't think this will be final. You might notice in the video it's not exactly the smoothest animation in the world. I think I'm going to try adding some more frames to it tomorrow (when it's not 2 AM) to make it smoother. Assuming the engine can handle it.




And one final thing. I've basically finalized Danganronpa Team's soundtrack. It comes out to 76 songs in length. I've selected songs from a variety of games and such that I felt were fitting. Danganronpa 1/2 are obviously two of them. It wouldn't be Danganronpa without some Danganronpa music, y'know? Anyways, I gave all of the tracks my own title for the purposes of Danganronpa Team's soundtrack. Just for fun I'm going to post a non-spoiler-y track listing below. When I said non-spoiler-y I mean I'm leaving out songs with titles that I think will spoil something for you (anything I leave on there that sounds spoiler-y you won't speculate correctly about, so don't worry). I'm not going to say what I pulled them from either. You can take a look at the titles if you're interested. If you're bored you can try to imagine what kind of songs they are.

Oh, and one last thing. The music in that video I posted above is not Danganronpa Team's investigation theme. It's going to be something a little different. The music in the video is just there so as to not spoil the actual track. Anyways, here's the track listing:
