A short but satisfying experience

A rather brief game yet there are certainly some good things to be said about it. So let's dive in.

The story centres around Alice, a girl that has been left home alone in her house. You make a slow exploration of your home, revelations being brought to you as you do.

The story itself is short but satisfying. The message does not wear itself out or try to be overly philosophical. I adore philosophy but it is rather nice to see a horror game like this where you are looking into a psychological situation but the message is not hammered in or too exaggerated. All the plus points to the authour!

I'm a tad split on the maps. Personally I would have made them a tad smaller in some case or perhaps given them a little more shape (dividing the library with some walls could have been nice) but in the same time, the maps are not so empty that it feels annoying. The only room I really did not like was that of the dining room that felt like a big empty blob. But as said, over all, the map design is actually pretty neat.

There is only one track of music in this game and I will say it is used when it is needed, giving the game a good feel to it. The creator did good in building on the silence. I will however, as a piano player, say that I chuckled at the fact that Alice could play "Moonlight Sonata" from paper but stated she was "not very good at the piano and needed music sheets". Believe me, I was a little above average, "Moonlight Sonata" is not an easy piece to pull of completely. Just a funny mention and nothing against the game!

Over all this game took me around 10 - 15 minutes and it is certainly worth to look through. It is short, direct and has a good atmosphere about it.
