A BLURRED LINE v2.1
A Legend in the Making

If I get anything wrong, it means I haven't played this game in awhile and it probably got patched awhile ago.
A Blurred Line was created by Lysander, the creator of The Book of Three and that Phantasy Star remake. It is a famous game and everyone in the rm2k/3 community has at least heard of it, if not played it. What makes this famous game so great is, the fact that the graphics were poorly done, yet won many hearts of us gamers in the community.
The story starts out with a simple minded worker for some factory in your everyday futuristic city. However his average work day ends up being a nightmare when he is framed for murder. Well I won't spoil the rest to you, lets just say the story is brillantly written and well crafted.
The game world is very open ended. You are sometimes given different choices which may lead you to different places depending on your actions. This however does not affect the overall storyline nor does it sidetrack from it. The non linear part of this game is well made.
The battles are quite challenging, especially if you don't know how to use Talan's special techs. Each character has thier own uniqe abilities. Even though that its used in DBS, theres alot of interesting coding put into it. But regardless of the difficulty, I'm sure you'll find someway of getting past it (either cheating or just pure dedication). On the side of the gameplay plate though, are alot of fun mini games, alot of them quite creative.
The graphics are the bad and ugly part of the game, but Lysander has gone through great lengths to update this game regularly to make it look better. The chipsets are simply regular future graphics but then later some rather custom ones that tend to lose consistancy. Alot of the sprites are mainly future sprites, which are very well used and implemented, however eventually Lysander has to resort to custom or regular RTP later in the game. In all of these downsides, you probably won't even care, all you'll care about is the story and fun gameplay.
The sound and music are very well used. Alot of the music is composed of techo music and old school video game music (mainly from the Genesis system, in which Lysander is most likely a fan of). Instead of your everyday square soft tunes, Lysander actually tries to pick things unheard of in the rm2k/3 community.
Overall, this game has brought many memorable moments to me (and probably will to you). If I could somehow make a dvd case for this, this would be on top of almost every game I own. Okay I'm exaggerating here folks, but seriously, this is the kind of RM game that matches up with professional games.
