Well, 1 review and several players complain of excessive crashes, so I went to check the homepage at http://destinysblades.spectremovies.com/index.html
As it says there, 'The game, however, is not getting any work on it, as of right now. Some work past chapter 3 has been done, but nothing significant. Right now I’m (Supa) working on another game, as well as playing games myself'.
So basically it is still a work in progress (on hold), not a finished game, which does account for bugs.
I just subscribe to it, and will check it out again in a few months...

I reloaded form earlier and the menu bug didn't hit me.
I am getting crashes while fighting Etiarra. Several time with different fire based attacks it's given me "event script referenced a monster that does not exist"

Well, the menu access this must have been a glitch. I'll look into that. If you can't access the menu when you think you should be able to, try going to a dragon racing or crate slider, and play it. That should fix it.
As for wait, I'm 90% sure that wait is there to make it so enemies can't attack you while selecting items/skills. Active is there so if you want, you can wait for a certain party member to fill up his time points and attack.

So far I like it, but I have two questions:
1) why is menu access disabled between the necromancer fight until after the first battle at Shasta? Why should you be able to buy equipment before the battle, but yet be unable to equip it until after the first fight?
2) I may be mistaken on this, but isn't selecting the "wait" option on the menu supposed to make battles closer to turn-based?

The download seems to be... down. That's a shame, because this looks like a good, solid RPmakergame in every aspect.

I encountered the bug that crashes the game ... During the battles in the Beach Cave where you're fleeing from the Land Dragon, I got an error that says, "Event script referenced a skill that does not exist." And game crash. :(
I hope this can be worked around, since I really enjoyed the game up to that point. :)

This is the slickest game I've seen come out in a while. I'll definately be giving it a go!
