Overview
Yeah, it's Pong. In RMXP! Your favorite game that probably nobody ever cared to play is back. But not really better than ever.
Gameplay
Unlike the standard Pong, Pong XP has a vertical orientation. Player 1 on the bottom, and Player 2/CPU on top. Your goal is hit the bouncing ball past the other player's paddle. Unfortunately, that's all there is too it. No extra options, no power ups or anything. The different AI settings are a nice touch, and really make the game challenging.
Graphics
Nothing too fancy. Transparent play field with an animated background. And paddles that move. The custom menu is nice and works well.
Final Remarks
Well, there's not much to the game. Maybe Pong XP 2 will have some sort of online multiplayer, score boards, and gameplay option tweaks. The game is pretty basic, but it does work.

Well, you stated in your last comment, "It doesn't take an artist to appreciate art or know what it is". I merely assumed you were referring to my game and therefore, expressed my thoughts on the topic.

I never said a game's worth was based upon its graphics. If you cared to read the review, my Final Remarks stated that I would enjoy MORE GAMEPLAY. I didn't bring up graphical improvements because that was never my issue with your game.

If you believe that game design and the essence of programming relies solely on artistic value, then I feel that you do not have the necessary attributes to be a qualified reviewer of any game. I just do not believe the worth of any game merely relies on artistic properties.

I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you about game design and programming. I gave you an honest review about what I thought of the game. It doesn't take an artist to appreciate art or know what it is.

Well WIP, I realize that Pong is not the most original game to construct, but I also realize that you wouldn't even know how to begin constructing such a game because you don't even have a game that I can even download.
